                              i)        Decisions

17/00120/NREFPP            Appeal Allowed

ii)       Applications

Erection of 1 dwelling for use as holiday let, with associated private drainage system

at Former Saw Mill, Howhill Quarry Road, Beckwithshaw (Mr Robinson)

The Parish Council does not object to or support the application but wishes to make comments as below;

There is insufficient information about the actual placing on the site. The building is large for a holiday let along with 6 spaces for car parking.  This could impact upon the wildlife on site.

Various building and construction works including: demolition of valve tower,

Pipework, associated access bridge and masonry wave wall; construction of a stone-

lined channel; formation of steps and a timber footbridge; and associated

landscaping at Reservoir South West of Springhill Farm, Beckwithshaw (Yorkshire

The Parish Council has no objections.

The Parish is unlikely to get speed traps because we have “Speed Watch”. NYCC is hoping to modify the current policy about the installation of traffic signs, at present it is very restrictive.
